Press Release Body: DUBAI, September 2008 – Raffles Dubai will launch its first
gastronomic event in the Middle East, the extraordinary Raffles Wine, Food & Arts
Experience. This creative event is reflective of the culinary excellence that
Raffles is renowned for, and is scheduled to take place from the 18th to 21st
November to celebrate Raffles Dubai’s first year anniversary.

Raffles Wine, Food & Arts Experience is a Raffles event that brings together
luminaries from the culinary world, prestigious vintners and leading artists from
around the world in an annual showcase of cuisine, wine and living par excellence.
Raffles Wine, Food & Arts Experience has been extremely well received at Raffles
Hotel Singapore, where preparations are underway for the event’s 14th year.

Raffles Dubai’s Raffles Wine, Food & Arts Experience will feature three of Europe’s
most renowned chefs: Two Michelin Stars Chefs - Nicolas Le Bec from restaurant
Nicolas Le Bec in Lyon, France, who received his first Michelin Star just two months
after opening his restaurant, Philip Howard from The Square in Mayfair, London, who
has been Chef de Patron at The Square for over 17 years and One Michelin Star Chef -
Atul Kochhar from Benares in Berkeley Square, London, who is distinguished as the
first Indian Chef to have been awarded the Michelin Star.

Raffles Dubai’s Wine, Food & Arts Experience will begin on 18th November with a
Grand Opening Cocktail Party, followed by two days of lunch and dinner events at the
hotel’s signature restaurant Fire & Ice – Raffles Cellar and Grill, where guests
will have the opportunity to enjoy the exquisite menus prepared by the three
participating gastronomy maestros. The Michelin Star-studded masters will also be
conducting culinary demonstrations in the dramatic setting of New Asia Bar, located
at the peak of the pyramid.

The grand finale will take place on the symbolic 21st November, the hotel’s first
anniversary, with a closing Gala Dinner featuring a sumptuous 5-course menu
presented by the brilliant trio of top Chefs with a total of 5 Michelin Stars
between them.

Raffles Dubai’s inaugural Raffles Wine, Food & Arts Experience is set to delight
both afficionados and connoisseurs of fine cuisine.
